What an awesome idea that I wish more developers and services offered. I have not had any issues yet and the connection times seem to always be relatively quick. Always be aware of what your local connection gateway is, especially if WiFi. Most of the time, a VPN only covers the connection to a point outside the local network, so your packets to and from the gateway router, what have you may not be encrypted.
